On Friday the 22nd of July, Kilbride GFC held
a golf classic in Hollystown Golf Club to coincide with the
annual Paddy Clarke Memorial. Both the golf and the evening
proved a huge success and a good time was had by all. Jason
Sheehy and his dream team staged a late rally to claim the
winners
title. Veteran player David Cully and PRO Anne Farrell were
award winners as part of the Paddy Clarke Memorial as great
servants of the club over many years.
Unfortunately, there was no picture taken of
Brian White in his "MC Hammer" trousers. David Harford and
Cormac Holland also were the winners of a high stakes bet
with Eamonn Clarke and apparently have not been paid yet.
Mayo man Cormac Holland worked hard to earn the title of
"appearing in most photos". Robbie Bruton made a great debut,
ripping up the course - literally. Kevin Quinn, David Barron,
Joe Barron and Niall Farrelly provided the style, Kevin Mulligan
escaped without injury, while Andy Rennicks did 100 pressups
for each bad shot. Here are some of the highlights :
